The AP conducts a bunch of interviews with European media people and finds what I had found anecdotally: that all in all, they are more optimistic about — and, by inference, better prepared for — the future. More cock-eyed optimism. Note also that Le Monde says its online revenue pushed it to profitability “entirely thanks to online services making up for print losses.”
